Realmy has recently launched its two smartphones Realmy 6 and Realmy 6 Pro. Realm 6 Pro comes at an affordable price. Realme 6 has a starting price of Rs 12,999. This price is for 4GB + 64GB variants. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants are priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 15,999 respectively.
First of all let’s talk about its design, then this phone comes with a glossy body and it has a dual tone gradient panel. The back panel of this phone is shiny. The back is given a quad camera setup, which enhances its merits. The phone is lighter and comes with better gripping. The company has given a fingerprint sensor inside the power button, which responds quite fast.
The bottom has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB type C-port and speaker grill. The left side of the phone has volume rockers and a SIM tray. There is no problem in single hand handling in the phone. Speaking of the front side, the company has given it a 6.5-inch screen and a punch hole for the selfie camera at the top. The company has given 90Hz refresh rate and 120HZ touch samplelink rate in this display. The display is quite smooth due to the high refresh rate. This is the cheapest smartphone in India at the moment, which has a display with such a refresh rate.
Realmy 6 software:
This phone runs on Android 10 based Realmy UI. The interface of this phone looks more clean and smooth. However, it also has some blotware. The camera app of the new Realmy UI is better than ever. Realmy also features a special dual-mode audio inside its Realmy Lab, with which you can connect Bluetooth and wired headsets together. Speaking of performance, first let us know that we used this phone for about 10 days. And we have 8 GB of RAM and 129 GB of internal memory.
It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor, which was exclusively present in the Redmi Note 8 Pro. It is a good processor in terms of performance and it is specially designed for gaming. After using this phone for 10 days, we played many high graphics games like Pubji and its like, which also got hot for a short time. Many times one by one opened and switched the app, then the phone did not feel any kind of lag. As for the battery, the company has given it a 43000 mAh battery, which comes with a 30 watt flash charge. The battery of this phone can be used comfortably all day once fully charged.
Talking about the camera setup, the back panel of this phone has a setup of four cameras, in which the main camera is of 64 megapixels. The second camera is of 8 megapixels which is given an ultra white angle, while the portrait camera of 2 megapixels is given and a macro lens of 2 megapixels is present. This phone responds well to daylight and indoor / artificial light. On the other hand, the detailing is not so good with the ultra-wide camera and its condition gets a little worse in night mode.
The rest of the portrait shots are quite perfect in edge detection compared to Realmy’s old phones. Speaking of macro cameras, this is just an additional camera setup. This requires enough light to take shots. Details get worse when there is less light and there is also trouble in focus. It has 4K support for video recording. The best I’ve found is night mode. This mode comes with much better pictures in terms of its price. Also let me tell you you have to go to that mode for 64MP resolution. It has a 16MP camera for selfies and it takes good pictures. But there is no night mode for selfies.
